Actually, when I first watched the Avengers, I wasn't really into it (I barely even felt the hype) and I wanted to go home right after the movie so I can continue playing with my Sim. The next week, when I started getting bored... well. Tumblr got to me.

thats pretty much how it happened with me. i had spent like two weeks studying for finals and not watching tv. then one day i got bored and sat down on the couch n the first thing i saw was an avengers commercial( the one where loki says you were made to be ruled). and now i am obsessed with loki/tom hiddleston

Truthfully, this was the same situation for me too, except I was a bit desperate to see the Avengers due to my nerdly instincts, even though I'm a DC girl. The week before, I went to go buy a shirt for a costume, then I found the DVD for Thor, so I bought it. Now I've caught some sort of Loki syndrome.

I did want to see the Avengers since I am quite a movie buff (and a Marvel girl too), but I didn't feel the hype and I was best friends with my DS. By the 2nd screening, I fell in love with Loki's costume... and then. And then. And then.
