Holy crap, I'm updating?Anyways, today during Art seminar I started sketching around a little bit and eventually I came up with some fanart from the game Darkstalkers. dunno why I drew Q-bee, but I just kinda did. Also, I went over the sketch with these greyscale brushpens I have but have never used, so this was a bit of a test. I did a sketchy ink job and tried to shade it a bit, but I'm terrible at that. Overall, I think its alright, but not that great. I notice way too many anatomical errors(breasts look like they were drawn from a different angle, arm is really short, etc.) but Its signifigantly better than anything I have been doing lately, so I guess thats why I'm actually posting it.
I added a little color in OC so it woulden't be boring, I didn't spend more than 10 min on that part.

I love her ears/antennae, they look a little like fuzzy puppy ears and transform her from icky insect to "aww!"-worthy. Also, I like her all-black eyes; it makes her look more like a half-bee as opposed to a person in a bee suit. I'm also liking her hairdo, her pose, her innocent look (probably partially due to her eyes) and her fuzzy-topped all-different-direction-striped leotard. w00t! Nice job.

This is so cool! I really like how the wings turned out especially for some reason. Plus I've never seen that character, so it's new to me!

probably my second favorite character design from the darkstalkers series...though all of them are really cool, you should check them out.

I love the colors you used.. you know I'm a large fan of orange though. Her pose is rather fitting for her character, and you got the proportions down wonderfully, besides the whole arm thing.. but I think that looks fine, even. I'm especially loving the way you did the wings. Great job ^_^
Please tell me that you drew this with a refernece >_> If you didn't, I'll cry because you've only played the game once, to my knowledge.

Thanks for the comments, and yeah, I kind of had a referance, but I had looked at it a while before drawing...so it was memory...but recent memory.
