Description
In the moisture of the far forbidden woods next to the park I peer in the distance at the little girl resting her head on her mother's chest on the bench. The little girl stares at me with her deep blue eyes, looking at my red fur.
"Mommy," The girl says with excitement.
"Yes dear,"She says.
"I think I want to go play now," She says.
"Well...okay, just don't go to far"Her mother says.
"Okay mommy, love you,"the little one says.
The little girl stares at me as she begins to walk toward me, My green eyes calling her to the silent wood.
"Hello Wolfy," She says nearly inches from my long face. She appears to only be five maybe younger. I growl and snuff a little before I decide what I want to do with her. I press my face into her palm and lay down on the forest floor, waiting for her to climb on my back. When I know she's on I get up and see that her mother is beginning to worry. When she turns around and sees me with her child she shouts in horror for her. I run as fast as I can with the child, dodging trees and fallen tree branches. The child laughs with excitement. I pause in my tracks in the patch of sunlight coming from the top of the tree peaks after hours of running and begin to shift forms, pushing the girl off of me. My bones begin to take form stiffening and locking into place with a crack. When I'm done changing into a human the girl backs up against a tree and I tell her in a soft female voice,"Do not worry I'm your guardian". She seems confused. "Your only a little one now but you'll understand one day why I've taken you from your family," I say softly with a grin.
