Yet, another Vespa sitting quitely under a lazy afternoon..I couldn't understand why people love to park their Vespas in lonely alleys.
But I sure love the fact that they belong there

I love old Vespas. If I'd only have the money, I'd buy me one. This picture, I can afford! And I love it: ) Very good DOF on the Vespa, and I particulary like the light that reflects on the shiny parts of the dark Vespa. A nice touch that the window behind is open, too. That's a lucky touch. Good choice with black and white, since you're getting the white road and the black "moped". I don't know if you call it that, that's maybe a Norwegian interpretation of the original word. Though all in the picture are dead things, the picture looks alive: )

first thing that entered my head when i saw this was ITALY. i dunno why, but it reminded me of Italian men with bread baskets scooter-ing around Rome. Or was that Paris?

Hey, nice shot.
Since you're asking for advanced critique, I've got to say that the lines and shapes in this image work very well. You've got the very curvy Vespa contrasting completely with the rigid, square world around it. That combined with the DOF really sets it apart from the background, which achieves that "sad" effect I think you're talking about.
In other words, this is awesome.
