How did you balance the exposure between the flower and sky? Wouldn't the flower simply be under-exposed?

well you see, the sky is partly overcast, which means that the sun is not directly shining, and due to the thin petals, the flowers are properly lit without underexposure, though parts of the stems are, but its too thin to justify their obviousness. well, when shooting this, you have to choose carefully the background sky that you want, i chose parts of the blues since it was the most neutrally exposed

I love how fragile everything looks. The way you managed to capture how light is filtering through everything... it's almost as if all the petals and spindly stems are made of the thinnest tissue paper and wires.
