Personally I preferred Garnet's pilot episode look. Not so much Pearl, Amethyst, or Steven. But Garnet just seemed awesome...though I miss her afro hair.

I've never seen Adventure Time, but the person who created Steven Universe worked as an artist on Adventure Time so it wouldn't be that surprising to me if in the pilot the style looks similiar
