For day 26 of Disney-club 's Disney Inktober challenge. I drew Kuzco from The Emperor's New Groove.

I looked at a few screenshots, from disneyscreencaps.com, at the beginning of the movie. ...I was actually trying not to copy the art style, but... it seems like that always either ends up with a character who doesn't look like themselves, or with the original art style still taking over. But I was curious.

I used my Sakura Micron 05 pen this time (though I did do a few little adjustments with the 005 afterward).

Partway through drawing the pic, this little box in the fireplace (called a pellet insert or pellet stove - like a mini-fireplace inside the fireplace), which was on, stopped making noise. After my dad and I scratched our heads for a few minutes, the smoke detector in the hallway started going off, so we took turns smacking at it with a broom for some time. Halfway through that going on, the pellet insert came back on and started spitting flames out (like little lightning bugs drifting around or something - hm... maybe I should've picked Atlantis to draw instead...), so then we juggled smacking at the smoke detector, playing spot-the-spark, and worrying about the wood floor and moving loose papers away from the coffee table (or maybe that last one was just me). But eventually, everything stopped. So, I almost didn't get the pic done tonight.
