(( Okay- first I wanna make note that I am aware Howl's Moving Castle is not a manga- but it's an anime style movie so I'm making it count because it's really hard for me to think of other manga couples that are almost identical to AusHun- I know there are probably loads of them, but when you're on the spot it's really hard to think.

Then there's the fact that I think Howl and Sophie represent Austria and Hungary phenomenally when you really look at simple facts. I know a lot of people use Nyo!England and France, which works as well, but I do really think that Rod and Liz are very similar as well. Sophie and Hungary; both didn't really want to get involved with the men and somehow end up cleaning for them- plus, I think it's safe to say for the most part, these ladies wear the pants in their relationship. Then as for Howl and Austria- both have somewhat flamboyant personalities (though Austria is not as direct with his bravado)- and come on- don't tell me you can't picture Roderich having a fit if something happened to his hair (like what I did to him here-- BUT IT'S SO WORTH IT XD BLONDE RODERICH!), and then theres the fact of they might not be the bravest of souls, but they'd do anything for the ones they love X3
