Hungary: I would love for nothing more then to see our child speaking both of our languages, and though I know children are more open to learning new languages, as a baby I don't want to overwhelm the poor thing. Perhaps when they get a little older I can start teaching them Hungarian.Β

Austria: That would work, but it's more of the language over all we're concerned about⦠though I suppose we shouldn't concern too much; children are very capable at learning more then one language.

Lucky for the young child. I have only known English for my whole life and a little bit of Japanese. Which now, I have regretted not learning the two languages I wanted to learn. Guess I should start now or soon. Good luck with the language teaching!Β

Do you know, that it's good to speak to child in more languages from beggining? My cousins are Dutch/Slovak, but their parents speak to them in their own language, not just dutch or slovak, nor english
