Italy sat on his porch while intensely reading a history book he had gotten from the library, reading up on his nonno's history to refresh all the stories he was once told as a child. He was so focus on the book, he didn't notice someone walking up to him.

Germany had walked up to him. He had to do a double take because he didn't know that Italy was capable of being so focused.
"Italien?" He spoke. "What are you reading?"

It's a rare sight, Germany. Take a picture. "Ve, a history book." He replied then look up at him with a bit worry on his face. "Do you believe history repeats itself?"

Romano stared at them from inside, looking through a window in disgust while just seeing their actions, unable to hear anything. "Stupid German bastard. Why can't you just stay away from him?" He muttered.

He smiled gently at him and gave him another kiss to the lips, holding him close. He blinked a few times when he saw peeking eyes through the window and then his eyes narrowed. He knew that it was Romano. He slowly pulled away from Italy and stared out the window. "What the hell....?"

"Ve?" Italy looked over at the window, getting a bit freaked out by the staring eyes watching them but he soon guessed it was Romano, making him sigh. Romano pressed his middle finger up against the glass to flip Germany off.

He gently knocked on the window before leaving it, wanting his brother to come inside. "I'm sorry about him, Germany." Italy said. "I wish he liked you like I do."
