Have you tried Farenheit 451 or Fugitive Pieces? I got into them via TLR (The Longing Ribbon) as they have very interesting and true quotes, well, at least to me anyways. XD ha ha Not sure if they're Mystery though but I do believe they are good stories.

Ooh, I've read F 451 before! I had to read it for an English class when we were discussing the topic of Banned Books. Then we had to write a report about a banned book of our choice, arguing over whether or not the book should be banned based on the content (I chose the Stephen King book, Carrie).
