Come to think of it, Gaara (from NARUTO) was the bad guy in the beginning of the series but ended up becoming a good guy in the end (and he still is a good guy) while in the case of Sasuke, Sasuke became a good guy in the beginning but then he went to Orochimaru to kill his brother Itachi for revenge. Oh. Sorry for spoiling it for you if you haven't seen the anime or read the manga.
