Please feel free to Rp because I have nothing else to do, and I want to create thicker relationships in my characters.
The more I look at this the more I hate it.))
Edit: NO STUPID ADMIN YOU BETTER BE PROUD OF THIS PICTURE BECAUSE IT IS AWESOME.

((sure!))
*Ronit sat comfortably with her feet tucked gently under her thighs. She was brooding over some page in her book, and slightly moving one of her fingers in a tangle of her hair. With her other hand, she traced some inscriptions and silently mouthed them.*
"This seems more like a poem than it does a manipulation spell," she growled to her large old book.

Yay~ ))

Corvus

Corvus ran his hand through his now tousled fluff of bangs. In his other hand he held a leather journal, a rather old one at that. Frowning, the young writer flipped through the yellowed pages.

"All these ideas but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to continue them..."

Inspiration. All he needed was a spark, maybe in the form of an interesting individual or perhaps a new tale. As he walked he realized he was about to pass a figure that lay on the ground, upon further inspection he saw that in her hands she gripped a book. Then, the words "poem" left her lips. Could she honestly not differentiate between a work of art and the scriptures of a witch? He frowned and stopped, he could not allow her to insult fine literature with her daftness. " What have you got there?"

She looked up with the sudden spark of a voice, and her hand paused at the word "Scour". She frowned at the stranger for a moment, a small act of annoyance for defeating her concentration, and then causally looked at the questioner.
"I have in my possession an old form of literature that many use to learn. It could bear the mark of a textbook, but alas it is just a group of shuffled papers." She replied. "And what have you got in your hands too, sir?"

Corvus

He rose a brow as he glanced down at the book, it was rather old and looked as if it has seen better days. Shutting his journal, he did not bother to make eye contact as he answered -binding the worn book as he did so-. It was only right, seeing as she gave him a proper answer.

" A collection of unfinished tales that has haunted me for centuries. Now.." He placed a hand on his hip as he tossed the journal behind him; engulfing itself in a red mist and disappearing as he did so. " I couldn't help but overhear you having a bit of trouble with those scriptures."

Her eyes fluctuated slightly to where the red mist had swallowed his stories. She tapped her book with her index finger, and looked down at it for a moment.
"Well," she started, "The words inscribed for this incantation seem to be literature ,such as poetry, than a witch's spell."
She huffed a little, and skimmed through the passage. Ronit paused and pointed to various words.
"These few groups don't make such sense, and I don't understand how they could create anything other than the joy and heartbreak of reading any normal work," She sighed, "But this isn't any form of normal work!" "Oh," she jumped, " I didn't even ask your name yet I'm blabbing on about silly incantations and such!"

Corvus

He gave a small nod as she spoke, his hair swaying slightly as he thought. If it was truly a poetic entry, then he would have no problem deciphering it. " Of course it's not your average scripture, it's writing to cast incantations." He frowned slightly, saying nothing but acknowledging her realization. " Names are not important at the moment, I didn't come to make such introductions." Outstretching a hand, he continued. " Now, if you hand me the writings, I will waste no time in interpreting it for you."

She looked down at the book once more, and then looked back up.
"I wont hand you my book until you tell me your name, and I tell you mine!"
She didn't trust strangers with this object of hers. She worried that he might grab it, and run off somewhere.

Corvus

His frown was threatening to fall into a scowl, he humored her and retracted his hand. Instead now, Corvus laid it on his chest and bowed slightly, his hair slipping forward. " My name is Corvus, and yours?"

He almost felt disgusted with himself, but he would not forgive himself if he let someone stay completely clueless in a field he dedicated his entire life understanding.

Ronit grinned at Crovus, and gently handed over her filled up book.
"My name is Ronit, it is a pleasure to meet you," she stated, "I apologize for being so annoying for asking your name! A witch can do a lot with a single name, and I must ensure the safety of my book at all costs. So I do mean that if you attempt any trickery towards me or my book of incantations I will retaliate."
She smiled with a glare, and watched as his eyes skimmed the page.

Corvus

He took the large book, careful not to let any pages slip. Using his other hand for support, Corvus flipped it open and began to skim the various spells. He glanced up for a moment, raising a brow as he flashed a wry grin. " Do I really look like one that would do such things?" Claw pointed to a certain passage, he traced his finger over the old scriptures as he continued. " Names should not matter, not in this moment. After this I will leave and most likely never see you again, a memory that will soon fade and be forgotten."

"If a memory is to be forgotten wouldn't one say that it truly never happened?"
She patted the ground, twisted her hat slightly, and pulled a piece of grass out of the soil.
"Here," she smiled, "I have proved that this is actually happening, and will remain a memory for me. Who knows if you choose to recall our meeting here or not. And I always have to ensure the safety of that book. I'm truly sorry for the bother! I do hope this meeting doesn't die out though. Everything proves to be important some time or another!"

Corvus

She had a point, why help one whom he would not remember? Perhaps it could be something other than his need to correct, he smirked. " You are so very true Lady Ronit, but not all memories should be kept. But alas, it is your choice if you will keep this moment in your mind." He held the book up and muttered the spell, a fine choice of words for an enchantment. " Perhaps I might hold this moment, this passage is something worth recalling." He let his hands from underneath, but instead of the book falling and spilling it's contents, it became engulfed with the similar red mist and instead lowered itself onto Ronit's lap. " A bit tricky, but not a difficult spell to understand."

Ronit lifted the book, and tucked her knees to her chest. Her fingers graced the various dirty pages that were sticking out, and she took a breath of the warm spring air that lay around them.
"Thank you very much for returning it to me," she said, "I'll try to understand it as well as I possibly have the ability to do so!"
She looked up at some of the red mist still lingering around Crovus, and cocked an eyebrow at the way it moved.
"Many creatures I come across nowadays seem to have the ability to use some form of air manipulation to move objects. I've never seen it that shade of red though!"
She stretched out her legs, and stood up. Good glob was she short compared to Crovus. She had to point her head up a bit to make correct eye contact, and even then she felt like a small child.
"Most beings do not come down this way often. So why are you traveling down such an interestingly magnificent road, sir Crovus?"

"Please do, such literature should be appreciated by those who can cherish it's intricacy." He crossed his arms as he responded with a sly smile. " It's parlor tricks really, but the hue is something to be noticed. A color I have grown fond over the years." A memory flickered, one that involved screaming and the walls painted with the very shade. As soon as it came it was gone, leaving Corvus to do nothing but grimace. Centuries and yet, he could recall that day when he was still human...

Ronit was a rather petite young lady, maybe his own lanky frame contributed to her delicate appearance. He lowered his glance as to make eye contact with the young being. " It is quite simple, I look for inspiration. As you just said this road can be quite interesting and I expect to make the most of this day."

She smiled a bit, and nodded.
" Ah, that makes a lot of sense, and red really is quite a nice color. What stories to you write though? Ooo seems more of a fantasy land than reality."
She stretched her hands, and looked down at her palms for a moment. A small wispy puff of dark grey smoke conjured its way out from the inner veins of her fingers. She blew down onto it, and it spread out into a small puff form. Darker colors wafted into swirls like the ones on her face from the tip of the puff's head, and she whispered something in a foreign tongue to the little being. It quickly zipped away and vanished past the edge of a hill. She tugged at the hem of her dress, and the blackness of it was temporarily stained with the lighter shade of grey she had used moments before.
"I have a feeling you will find some strange thing for inspiration today, sir. There are things past these hills that great story tellers dream of, and lucky you will probably come across one of them. Although, I do hope you're armed. I've heard rumors from adventures that they were attacked to the point of no return. Someone even sang about an ancient monster in a nearby forest named Grendel."

" Indeed it is, intense...primal.." He raised a hand in a flourish, chuckling with a hint of mischief. " I write about anything and anyone Lady Ronit. It can range from a simple tale of two lovers to the winding road of despair one stumbled down upon." He replied, eying Ronit as she conjured up a dull grey wisp. He picked up faint whispering as she leaned over to the floating form, though he could not decipher it. Then as soon as it was created, it was gone. Quickly rushing off to goodness knows where.

"Oh,really now?" She had his attention now. " Grendel was it? I will be sure to pay this beast a visit. Surely a place that holds such misfortune must be riddled with inspiration~"

"So I've heard it resides in the forest. I heard it from this old tale. A adventurer killed Grendal's mother. He's an ugly monster, and is quite cruel. I really don't think it would be best to purposefully come across such an evil creature!"
She shifted from foot to foot.
"A man by the name of Beowulf killed him, or so I've been told. Word of ear never really works, but a very old man told me that it's written down somewhere. Things always seem... to be very much so alive in Ooo though... So I request you be careful if you really want to come across this terror."
The wisp she had sent away returned to her. It bopped into her ear, and then floated comfortably down into the crevice of her neck. Ronit brought her hand up to the swirly scars on her face, and thoughtfully traced them with her pointer finger.

He nodded from time to time, intrigued by her tale. "My my, to hear that such a beast exists. It almost makes me ask myself 'How could I not go and search for such a being?" He chuckled and held up both hands. "I am a writer, not a fighter. I will venture only with intentions of seeking out inspiration. If I come across the beast I will have no choice than defend myself."

" Now, I shall take my leave Lady Ronit." He had gotten some useful information as well with the satisfaction of helping one in his proffered field. Now, he did not believe he she could entertain him further.

"See you sometime later then," she smiled, "and scream for me if you find Grendel. I'll come whizzing by to help you fight the bugger off!"
She twisted her hat a bit, and a large clump of very dark wirey hair fell on top of her lighter grey hair. She moved her hand up a bit, and quickly shoved it back into the closure of her hat. She hoped that he had been blinking for that moment, but doubted it. She smiled, and shifted kindly on the edge of her heels.
"It was very nice to meet you, sir! I hope we can find each other again. Oh, but Ooo is so very big, so I guess this might be farewell for a very long time!"
She smiled, and waited for him to walk off.

He scowled, him, crying out for help? The thought alone made him sick to his stomach. His look of disapproval soon vanished as he gave a slight nod. "But of course, on the off chance I do meet this beast. " He was soon to turn and leave this being alone when he noticed something...peculiar.

Was he seeing things? Surely she did not stuff what he assumed was her hair back into her hat? Forget it, that was of his concern.

Ahh yes, finally....a departure.

"Perhaps we may never meet again, and that Lady Ronit, would be for the absolute best." With that, Corvus finally took his leave. And to think, actually conversing with the likes of her brought him some rather useful information!

"Indeed," she mumbled to the man walking away, "Fate has a way of messing with people when they meet again."
Ronit waved slowly at the figure transforming into a silhouette as it moved further away, and rubbed her eyes.
She set herself down comfortably on the ground, and read the passage of confusing spells over again. Only this time, they made more sense. She chanted them aloud, and sent herself away into various puffs of black smoke. ((OR WAS IT SOMEONE ELSE DOING THIS ENCHANTMENT HAHAHAMWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! ))
