Description ((In the classical period, anything you could put in a soup that wasn't a grain or liquid was called "relish", and basically included all fruits and vegetables. Poor people usually had to subsist on dried vegetables rather than fresh.

Socrates was executed for "corrupting the youth of Athens", namely he swayed them from believing in the Olympian gods. He never wrote anything down, he just appeared on street corners and started talking to people. Plato, his student wrote everything after. I feel that Greece would have the most personal relationship with Socrates.

Herms started out as piles of stones and evolved into stone markers- usually with a bust of Hermes (who shares their name and purpose and evolved with the herms as they grew more complicated). In addition there was usually a phallic carving on them, most of which were knocked off by Christians later on in Greece's history. Herms were markers on the road, similar to milestones.))
