Description All I know is that everyone who lives there has skin scorched by the sun and they are quite pious.

((It looks like Greece tended to lump everyone south of Egypt together as the Aithiopians or Ethiopians, literally the "burnt faced" people. They assumed that the sun came far too close to the Earth down there and burnt their skin.

Herodotus said that it was at the southern ends of the Earth- beyond Ethiopia was simply a great lake. He also said that the people down there were among the tallest and most handsome in the world... hmm. The Greeks were in awe of them and even Homer refers to them as "blameless Ethiopians". They were also said to be extremely pious and left the best sacrifices for the gods.

Don't let this go to your head too much, Nubia. XD;; Even so, Greece thought of the world in concentric circles and the furthest edges of the world were more barbarian than the rest (I guess there's some truth to this, since barbarian referred mostly to non-Greek speakers rather than savages. XD) But yeah, the majority of Greece would not have known much about them. ))

Well, I think he'd be rather flattered by that description!

Then again, the kid's easy to please.
