Description (( I really really love other cultures and stuff and I've already been all over America, so I'm ready to leave. I knew 90% of American history by the time I was 10 and anytime we talk about American history in school I'm bored out of my mind because I know about all the battles from actually being to the battle fields! I just want to know about other countries and immerse myself in their cultures.
Seriously, ask me about a famous place in America. White house? Been there. I rushed through whilst my mother took 3x the amount of time to look as I did. George Washington's house? Me and my brother were bored out of our mindssss. Tomb of the lost soldier? god damn, was it hot out. and yet they still marched as always. in uniform. I feel sorry for them.

And gosh, when I find out people are from another country I kind of just want to be their best friend so they can tell me about where they're from. It's kind of horrible, I know, but there's even a girl in my school that's apparently from Thailand and I really want to get to know her because I think that's really cool, but how do you do that??? Just go up to her like, "Hey, you're from Thailand, can we be friends??" No, that's creepy. Ahhh, I want out of this countryyy.

I've been to Mexico once... Tijuana that is. Also I saw Canada from across Niagara Falls but had no passport at the time. ...It looked cool in Canada, too.))

((Same here:3 I would love to travel the world, because there are just to many places I'd love to see^-^~. And I always get jealous when people tell me they travel a lot....
But I have already been to Denmark, Sweden and France :3 Oh, and Germany, but that doesn't count, because I am from Germany ^^~ And all the other countries I want to go are the same that you mentioned. Italy and Spain are the most important, I hope I can make my gap year in one of those two countries >_<. ))

(( I wanna go to Germany because... I dunno, I just really adore Germany, the German language, and German citizens. I think this obsession developed from German class, but idk. If I could, I'd want to go with my school to Germany but that may be a bit expensive for me. ))

For me it is, I guess the same with Spain, I love the culture and the language, and...aaah, just the way they live>u<
Yes, I'd love to go to Spain with my class , but our teacher wants to go to southern France with us, but we try everything to convince him, that he will go to Spain with us....but he seems to have a dislike against Spain :'I ))

(( When ever I see German I'm like, "OOH, OOH I WONDER HOW MANY OF THOSE WORDS I KNOW" Ah, well in my school, every year German students get the opportunity to go to Germany. You have to had at least taken German 3 to go. Huh, how could you dislike Spain though? Spain seems so amazing and I dunno about the citizens, but they seem pretty great too. ))

Yes, I don't understand how you can't like that country....the only bad thing is the high unemployment rate for young people, but the rest is pretty awesome :3 ))

(( rain and clouds. yaaAAAAAAYYY. Yeah, France seems nice but not when it's getting into that rainy season. Unless you're the kind of person that likes rain like that. I'd rather visit places that are sunny though, because then it's more enjoyable to go do things. ))

Ask-SanMarino In reply to AskAntonio [2012-11-19 19:09:02 +0000 UTC]

((Yes, I prefer sunny places as well. I think I am just not the person for rainy regions, though I lived my whole live in rainy, cold northern Germany. With sun it is, like you said, more enjoyable and rain only gives me that kind of depressed mood. ))

(( I'm the same way, and in autumn and winter, and some of spring, that's kind of how it is in Wisconsin. At least if there isn't a bunch of precipitation it's very grey outside, and gets dark at about 5pm. and That really sucks in winter because pretty much the only time of the day there's actually sun, I'm stuck in school.

When I go on vacation I like to get away from that.

Oh, not to mention, Sunlight gives off vitamins that help with depression so more reason to go someplace sunny ))

((Wooah, Wisconsin. There is a Kiel in Wisconsin, and I live next to german Kiel...which is a bit bigger than the other Kiel, as big as Madison I think.

But yes, it is the same here...when I go to school it is dark, and when school is over at 4pm, it is as well dark, sometimes there are lots of clouds and then there is no sun at all, but I love the sun, I need it.
I really wish I would be able to spend my holidays somewhere where it is warm, but most of the time we stay at home...or go to Sweden, but there it is even colder.

Yes, vitamin D is necesary for our health. ))

Yeah, actually it's 5:25 right now, and it's pitch black out. Has been for a while. Wow, Sweden sounds great! What do you go to Sweden for?

yeahh... I hate winter for this reason, I want the sun back ))

I visit my family there, we don't see each other that often, but I hope that will change in the future.

Heh, 5:25? Well, now I know at least how late it is, I am always wondering how late it is where the people live I am writing with. Here it is 0:45 at the moment and I should go sleeping, but...meh, I don't want to ))

Yeahhh, it's a seven hour difference between here and the majority of Europe, six hour difference for the British isles, Portugal, and Iceland though! Dude, you should sleep earlier. ))

I can't...when I got to bed at 10pm, I am lying in my bed for, like two or three hours until I sleep. And as well I don't need so much sleep, cause today lessons started at 11am ))

Oh, I've lived in Seoul, South Korea for 2 years (When I was 5/6 years old) and Okinawa, Japan (When I was 7 and 8 years old). I've also lived in 5 different places in the U.S., all on or near the East Coast. ^^ I'm with you on the traveling the world thing. My plan? Become a rich and famous classical (or jazz) musician, then travel the world. Far fetched, I know. But still, one can hope.

My dad travels a lot for his job, and he told me about an exchange program in Lithuania (Along with many other places) for college music majors. ^^ He also told me that if I ever become a street musician, to move to Finland because it's really nice there. XD

Oh, nice. That sounds really cool to travel a bunch. I mean, it would kinda suck because of leaving friends behind, but still you get to see all these places. ...and with todays technology you don't necessarily have to loose connection with them.

Yeah. I still e-mail one of my friends from Okinawa, and he lives in Idaho now. Okinawa was really awesome, except for the giant wolf spiders...

I would scream, cry, and run away. ...I do that anyways even if its only the size of a quarter. Maybe smaller. I just have a really bad case of Arachnophobia. Even one time when I was out walking, a daddy long legs almost crawled onto my foot so I started crying, they just freak me out that much.
