Description "O-oh my these are heavy..." *Places them down* "Like I said in the question, there are some genuinely good video games out there but I believe the goal is more and more about filling your pockets with cash and less about quality and story line.
Besides, literature is much better for your mind in the long and still just as fascinating when you find your genre niche"

Anybody else read My Little Dashie? If so, how many times did you cry? (If you say none then you have no soul.))

At least lugging around books makes ya stronger. Just not in the way certain adults want you to be (Stares at the angry Feralligator yelling at the other little Totadiles.) anyway, I like Sherlock Holmes myself, good big book. but I have read some of the ones you have shown here though. Nice set.

YES!!! DOUBLE D HAS READ THE HUNGER GAMES!!! Truth be told, I'm a little surprised that you would read a book that dark. How did you like it? And if you don't mind me asking, who was your favorite character?

I love books too! My favorite book, personally, has to be either The Things They Carried or That was Then, This is Now

Though, I'm still a very big fan of video games c:

(sorry I saw this when I visited and had to put up my say...)

"I've actually never heard of those two. Are they novels? Those do seem to be novel like titles. I'd have to say I keep my nose in the educational styled literature."

Sortof. The Things They Carried is from a man who survived the Vietnam War and the other is based in the same time period as Things They Carried. Very good books personally.

And I forgot to say, I read My Little Dashie... I cried so hard at the end. :c

(Oh thank goodness. I was kinda scared you wouldn't say anything back )

"I can see what you mean, yet wouldn't that be like someone with German heritage in America having a taste of bitterness over their ancestry's double loss? I suppose you could argue they have more loyalty to America.
Personally I find both world and United States History to be fascinating, not to mention something we can learn from. We've made multiple mistakes as a nation and somehow we manage to pull forward regardless. Hopefully for the better."

You have a nice taste in literature, The Giver is one of my faves. I never read The Hunger Games, it's not really my cup of tea but I hear loads of good things about the books so I will give it a shot. I also love Psychology, I took a course last semester.

"The Hunger Games trilogy truly was good. I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoys the Giver.

Really? I enjoy psychology myself! That among many other things. The human mind is just so fascinating!"

Sarahfina-Rose In reply to AskEddTheAstute [2013-02-26 03:20:59 +0000 UTC]

Psychology is very interesting, yet despite how long we can study the human mind and try to explain it with books and studies, the human mind is such a broad concept that we can never fully understand it.

I wish I read more, my dyslexia makes it hard for me to remember what I've read, I've been known to read a page atleast three times before I remember it all. But hey, I'll admit, I like pictures too. *sighs* Wish I could be clever and read an actual book-book.
