I just….all this time….I felt so alone….like no one cared about our cause…and what we were doing and why we were doing it….

And then people like you and Nikki and Sarahfina ….you guys give me so much hope and strength…and make me feel like I'm not fighting this alone…like I have FRIENDS who actually CARE.  

And it means so much to me…me and 11 million people….again…thank you so so so so much. It helps to know…that us immigrants….have allies out there…who care. And are trying to make a difference and inspire others to help change the world.

Shoot, where are those tissues? My nose is running like a water fall. XD))

Unfortunately the President does not have much say in the matter....see the Obamas are actually very supportive of immigration reform, President Barrack Obama is pushing for it, but it's really up to the House of Representatives to decide. I'm sure if the President had all the power in the world, he would do it, but the House has to vote on it. All he can do is sign a bill, but he can't make the laws. Right now, the future for immigration reform is unsure. Despite all the support from the nation, the House is really split. Some senators want it and some don't. And this all ties in to Left Wing and Right Wing politics, the two can never agree.

I'll shut up now, but all we can do is pray at this point and remain ever hopeful that this is the time for change. ))
