*it's got to be fairy tale sans.
((They all know about the original sans but don't like to talk about him. His timeline is where Frisk keeps resetting over and over, doing pacifist and genocide runs. This is also a good time to mention that these sans have experienced resets of their own.
P. Sans's Frisk reset about 6 times to try to save Asriel, reset once to do a genocide run but stopped when they got to alphys, failing the run. This time, they promised no resets and they've kept it up for months.
G. Sans's Frisk reset after a neutral run and has been trying to kill him ever since.

By technicality though; Pacifist, Neutral and Genocide Sans of the Classic sans could be considered "Originals" from the main timeline.

That's correct, the only way that it might be able to be narrowed down to one would be if there was a Sans there from before Frisk even showed up, before the resets even started. but then again by the rules of the multiverse and how these things go there would still potentially be countless alternates of that Sans Classic.
The multiverse is a real headache when one tries to quantify something that could be infinite.

I read this and the first thing that came to mind was Babybones (Sans and Papyrus as babies, I call them babybones because its a cute name) because there are a lot of AU's around Sans and Papyrus as kids/babies before Frisk, Chara, (Neutral Character Name Here), ever showed up. Now the real question here is which Babybones AU is the Original. ^w^
