Description A picture of a cross pendant that my mom bought as a souvenir from her trip to Israel. The red light in the photo comes from my optical mouse. I discovered its effect by accident earlier today when I was moving the mouse. I thought the effect was pretty cool, and it gave this otherwise plain wooden cross an unearthly glow. It's amazing how the right lighting can make a plain tabletop look sepulchral. It even has a "pebble" back there, which I think is a bread crub from the toast I ate last night. D:

Of course, this is under Conceptual for a reason. Anastasis means "Resurrection."

Taken on my Canon A410 Powershot, the People's Camera.
Effects used: Indoor filter + Macro mode.

You're mom went to Israel too? What a coincidence. It's like a Mecca of sorts for some people to go there.

Yep, it is the birthplace of our faith as well. I want to go there some time in the future too. It's a wonderful place.
