I've been good. Aside from the tablet issues leaving me with almost nothing to do I've been pretty alright.

Well I hope that tablet problem gets fixed soon.

I have no idea about how to fix the one you do have since I've never had a tablet that had a screen built onto it,
but if you wanna get a cheep tablet 
I'd recommend a
Wacom Intuos Drawing tablet.

They can usually range around 70 to 100 bucks 
and while it doesn't have a screen to draw on it built in,
It's still a pretty simple tablet to get used to drawing on.
