I've been drawing a lot of cats/kats lately, which is funny because I'm more of a dog person (looooves dogs.) I love cats too though...anyway, this is Georgette (Disney's Oliver & Company) and Annabelle (All Dogs Go to Heaven.) I guess I drew them for the excuse to draw something girly (both have bows 0.o)

Also with this piece I experimented with pen tool inking - which came out really well. So I'll probably be using pen tool again.

Although I added some of my own style, they both strongly resemble their original cartoon design, so even though the background is terrible, it has it's purpose. I refrained from using color because I wanted the dogs to stand out, the clouds behind Annabelle obviously represent her role in doggy heaven and the trees behind Georgette symbolize how the poodle is earthbound - wow, I have such amazing observation skills.
