Because I stalk Shoomlah and her art (go check her stuff out, NOW). She drew a picture 'inspired by' Thestrals which, in turn, inspired me to draw this picture. Definately like how it turned out, especially the wings.Related content

This is really well drawn, I love how you were able to catch the dragesque look in all your thestral drawings. I failed to get that right on my first try (its in my gallery). But Harry at one point said that they were beautiful creatures, so I would invision them to be slightly less grotesque, but not quite so "huggable" as mine

I think you did a great job capturing the overall look and feel of this creature. As I read the book, this is precicely how I saw them. Any plans to do a finished piece based on this?
