think I missed the event but this is my digital art piece for #dagettingstarted
drew this in fire alpaca. chose princess but debated whether to do daisy or Azula. ended up going with my girl daisy.

for some reason, this took nearly a month. def need to work on my drawing speed. I was planning to do a lot more with this. background, more detail on the body, props, etc. but I wanted to finish this today as a deadline.
mostly took so long because I made alts and drew multiple skins pigments/costumes that never got finished.

At the least, I'm making progress in my technique

Anyway, to close, art is for everyone and I believe the point of the getting started event was to help show others that no matter what point they are at with it, getting started is easy to do, getting better takes perseverance so I'm going to get started on my practice lol the goal is I be better than what I am now.
