The first time I dissected a frog it kinda freaked me out. I've never been a PETA type or anything, but I am pretty much vegan. In high school I got by without ever having to actually do a dissection by partnering with a cute blond girl with no knowledge of anatomy but a surprisingly steady hand. I told her where and she did the cutting. We actually did three dissections that way, and got perfect scores for every one! But she didn't go to college, so I had to man up and do it on my own!
Anywho, it wasn't three months after doing my very first dissection that I got into a lab, like, doing research. (Not just a class.) I KILLED SO MANY MICE. Dissecting them wasn't the bad part, though. It was watching them piss themselves when they figured out they were suffocating. Pretty crazy....
All of that backstory was just leading up to this: You have made me want to draw a picture of a pony suffocating in a bell jar. My mind is forever warped.
