Description
A little creature idea I had crawling through my notes for a while, but never quite felt right when I tried. Until now I felt it was just good enough.

I do feel I derped a bit starting and keeping the visual style, but then I also cut corners that didn't help with that. Still not the worst corners, though.

Creature designing is often on my mind, though I never go all in I feel, like with a full page design and all that. A bit of that is due to trying to just go through different ideas faster perhaps. Anyhow, it's something that I often do come back to every year at least.

This was actually planned as a creature for my First Contact War universe, having a pony nearby hiding behind a log or something. (hence the title)

Edit: Darnit, forgot to add a size comparison. But basically, it's supposed to be giraffe sized (so basically a human can stand under it just fine)
Or I guess in MLP, there has been a giraffe, so at least the same or bigger than that.
