Patron Voted Yona!Gosh, I was derping with this for a while. At first what idea to go with at all, then the execution of some sketches, finally into this, where I'm still having uncertainties here and there. But the response had been good in my stream already, and it has some value to it.
The visual style I kinda adjusted to her body as well, the eyes a lot more flat, less pronounced roundness, almost like when I made that plush.
This was partially due to her body shape and how it appears, trying to keep it as close to show style as possible, just with my shading.
Background forest as an attempt to do a bit more complex, blurred backdrop. You can actually tell those are supposed to be trees right?! Hah. Could've just done forest colors so blurred you couldn't tell what was what, but this even has blue for the sky?!
Just something I've been trying to find my balance in.
Anyhow, hope y'all like this little Yona, perhaps looking for some good smash-able logs lying about.

Yona is seriously the best. She's a strong character with immense personal gravity who emanates the truest values of her culture without being weighed down by the stereotypes set up for yaks, and I just adore every second she's on screen. This really captures that wide-eyed curiosity at her core.
