New MLP Episode inspired art for my MLP Season 7 Episode Art collection!
Season 7, Episode 19: It Isn't the Mane Thing About You

Welp, probably the most obvious choice to paint in this Episode, although I will say there were still some good contenders... Pinkie's mane ended up fabulous, many Rarity faces, Granny Smith joining in as well with the manes, and some of those others moments y'all of course remember too!

But I rolled with this, that much is clear at this point. So now I hope I managed to put together something nice at least. Pulled some headshapes, eyestyles, ears, from older pieces here and there, a mix and mash of things. I still end up with puzzling parts, though. I'm never entirely certain how I want to transition the jaw to neck, but with a wide head design like this, I often do end up with a hard cut. It also just depends on the angle... anyways, a more "single layer" approach, but not technically single layer, to this. I did a silhouette group, then I just threw that out the window and threw brushes all over the place and all edges. Probably because I knew I was gonna keep the background simple.

Anyhow, the episode was pretty good hah. Many faces, Rarity moments to be had. For some reason one detail that I liked was how they approached mixing up the bottles. Having them the same color was kinda convenient, but at least Rarity dropped em in a more story logical matter than I've seen other times. No random plotrock to pump into and accidentally drop em. Like, split hair ends are absolutely horrifying of course!!!.... for Rarity.
