Description
During the holidays and next year I'll be working on a short film and it's going to be about that little lamb and wolf I showed you guys earlier and they also have names now!
Introducing Grim and Piper, the protagonists of our little film.

(these are all drawn after the little test animation I made)
You'll notice that Grim went through several different designs and but his final design ultimately hasn't changed much.
That's just because all the others didn't tick my check boxes for his requirements or were too 'safe' e.g. too normal for me.
He had to be simple enough for animation (No needless details).
He needed to be both threatening but also approachable.
And he needed to look like a wolf and not get mistaken for a husky/fox/coyote/etc.
I think there were a couple of other things but these are the first ones that come to mind.
I was sort of fond of his skinny design right above his final design but it didn't scream "powerful" enough at me. I also had a hard time being consistent with that one.

Piper just needed to become more round and distinct. His previous design was a bit boring and stick figure-ish.
