I get that complaint a lot. The hilt is 12 inches, and the blade is 27 inches. The sword I used as reference is that long,a s are most of what I saw online. It's just a matter of perspective. If the camera was closer to the blade, then the hilt looks too short.

Thanks. It's got some flaws though. The fire has those black patches geometric things floating around, and I don't know why they are there, and the bump map on the floor seems to expand in the distance, again, not sure why. This really was a quick experiment.

I’m afraid I’m not too sharp with 3d effects since I’m quite new too my program, all I know is that’s one mean blade. I can see the black artifacts you’re talking about, I suggest you check out 3dcaffe.com or pixel2life.com I hear it’s the best place to
get 3d help thats pretty accurate.
