and the past Glaxia which originally belongs to meta knight and now is useless because the power has been sperated and now in the future Glaxian sword which link and Meta knights soul journeyed to gain.

so basicly marx uses the crystal Glaxia to fortify his and meta knights body's power in the sword for a last resort.

while link and meta soul uses the master Glaxia (fused Mastersword and Restored Glaxia)

the difference between the 2 swords is glaxia was broken when nightmare claimed it and used its power so the original sword is useless

so link and meta knight reforged a new sword and restore power to glaxia in a new sword. which is called true glaxia
