A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for Armada Terrorsaur downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link]The second member of the “Gestalt Project” Terrorcon team is Cutthroat here. I’m much happier with this then I am with Blot, heh. I actually did this repaint a looooong time ago, when I first did my G1 Predacon repaints of the other 3 Armada beasts. Usually, when I’ve had a repaint just sitting on my computer that long, I get unhappy with some aspect or another, but that’s not the case with this one. I think I got it right the first time, but we all know I’ve been wrong before, heh. I’m very happy with this mold as a new Cutthroat. I just re-read his MTMTE bio and this mold seems to fit his personality quite nicely. Overall, I’m very pleased with this one. Lets jut hope I can keep up this trend for the rest of the Terrorcons to make for a halfway decent team, heh.
Oh, and on a side note, (not that anyone cares)I had to redraw a good bit of his Vehicle Mode, which hopefully, isn’t too noticable. Like the rest of the Armada beasts, they decided to play down the mediocre “Vehicle/3rd Modes” and only briefly mentioned them in the instructions. Unfortunately, this means that what few pics (or a single pic in most cases) they have displaying the differences have large “movement/transformation” arrows covering up portions of the robot form. (Not to mention they didn’t even complete the transformation, taking advantage of his inner and outer wings to make more ‘jet like” wings, heh.) This was one of those cases, so I had to redraw quite a bit, heh. I really should make a gallery of all the “edits and changes” I’ve made to better the Armada/Energon line art in my scrap folder or something. One of these days…

Colors seem pretty nicely matched up and the mold choice is perfect indeed.

This is Armada Terrorsaur's line art, right? Armada Terrorosaur came with a Mini-Con. A Mini-Con mold (and lineart) you yourself told me was your favorite of the team used to do these partners for the Armada Beasts. So where is it, huh?

Well seeing as how these guys could come with ANY minicon, I couldn't pick which to give him. Besides, theoretically, HIS minicon would have to match up with the other two members of whatever set he's from, which would have to get made available at the same time, with either TFU molds, or more 2 more of the Armada Beasts, and all that's a lot of planning and crap that I didn't really need to do, heh. Besides, TM Terrorsaur was just a stand alone deluxe, so i didn't see anything wrong with marketing these guys the same way.
But, I'm glad ya like him so much, hehe.

Yes I do. But it doesn't excuse the fact that there's no Mini-Con with him. Hmpf. Well MY pixart model of this guy WILL have a Mini-Con.

I don't really have a better idea, but if keeping in the theme of the terrorcons, and cutthroat in particular, maybe someone like buzzsaw might work/look a little better? Or drillbit. Or Terradive or Thunderwing. they all make nice "vicious" rending and tearing weapons. And the latter two are even aerial vehicles, though a little "nicer" looking then the brutal look the two destruction members have
