Thanks for the fave.
I'm very sorry, but i don't have them any more and i don't make copies from my older pieces very often. That kind of objects don't usually stay very long in my "shop", because the demand is so huge in here. (For that same reason i don't even make any business to outside Finland..)

Thanks. Animal themed brooche and that big one in the bottom place are also my personal favourites in this set.

the blue color is Only because of the light? O.o

anyway, the look great

It was first very dark picture and colors came also way more stronger when i add more light in that with my photoshops curves-function.

Forged surface is always a little bit bluish/greenish tone of gray and not only just "plain gray", but it's never so rich blue color like that.

ahaam, nice

and, do you have something to protect them from rust or something?

Astalo In reply to Aranglinn [2008-09-05 07:45:08 +0000 UTC]

I don't always protect them, but sometimes i use renaissance wax or transparent lacquer. (And oil/tar finish on the bigger objects..)

i think elves would like your works too
beautiful ones again!! i especially that one with the animal (horse?) heads!
what material have you used?? they have a unusual blue color..

Astalo In reply to bodaszilvia [2008-08-05 22:45:42 +0000 UTC]

They are forged from steel.
Real color is more like gray, but sky was very blue when i take this photograph in the front of my window so it maybe effected them a little bit.

just spectacular. are you an elven smith?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Astalo In reply to Iskandar [2008-08-05 20:30:02 +0000 UTC]

Dwarven smith sits much better. Elves are only a bunch of sissies and not really my kind of "down to earth" craftsmans.
