I don't understand this. Those are Original Trilogy Star Destroyers and TIE Fighters. But wonderful art, though it's not accurate by era.

Actually, the first Order did have a few Imperial Era destroyers left from the Galactic Civil War. It just vastly reduced the crew sizes, and added mainly autonomous controls to them. They're rarely seen in the First Order Military, but they're there.
Now, I can't really explain the fighters.

It technically wasn't a single pilot. I mean, if chewbacca and Han hadn't blown that hole in the side of it there would be no way for the pilot to get in and blow it up.

Alright then, an assault force of less than 100 destroyed a weapon that the First Order'll be paying off for the next century. Now had they put that money into Star Destroyers and Interdictors, old or new, they would've had a much greater use.
