Description
The cello is a such beautifully crafted object. I wanted to emphasize the curves of the cello with the negative space and the f-hole in this photograph. Taken with a (borrowed, unfortunately) Canon EOS 350D.In retrospect, it kind of resembles the yin and yang symbol. Heh.

First of all, I love the title. It sounds great and really works with the photo. What I find so attractive about this shot is indeed the curves. The composition is lovely and abstract and there's a real nice flow to it. Good texture as well. I think the tone works wonders in this shot. lovely.

Heheh, that aside, thank you! Surprisingly, the title, for once, came easily to me. I think it's been swimming around in my head for quite awhile, and here was the chance to finally use it.

I love the way the light falls on the f-hole, so that you can see the actual width of the wood. This is so elegant, though. Nice shot!
