Description it's about trying to ignore the conflict between analog and digital work, i became interested in art because of the computer, but i find myself more drawn to painting and such, but the way i view it leaves me with the digital appearance in the back of my head. i dont know if i'm being clear with my words, maybe you should ignore my explanation.

i may put up a slightly different version as well.

I'd really like to start doing things like this, getting my ideas down on a real canvas, Great manip, the pose and expression on the guy is perfect. exactly what salernopasta said.

I think I understand your explanations very well...

I was into 3d artworks when seriously starting with art, and now nothing(almost ) makes me more happy than having a marker, brush and ink to paint.

those "analog" pieces carry just more emotions in my opinion, sometimes you can even guess the mood of the artist during the creation of a piece just because of his brush strokes...

this is difficult too explain, especially when writing in my not-native language.

thank you for your thinkpiece.

Wow, that's exactly the same thing for me. I'd been into web design and stuff, lots of design work on the computer, and when I started art school last year, I got more into traditional stuff again, and now I prefer it almost.

Anyway, I really enjoy this, the colours are great, almost like something is swalloing up the surroundings but the cut-out boy doesn't care. Just going with the flow.

this is my favorite of yours. the background looks almost like an explosion, or a really unhappy sky. what kind of paint did you use for this? were the letters the only part you did in computer?

I like the mixture of texture, paint, and photo. really cool. Is that a pic of you? the paint looks as if it is trying to overtake this guy to me, but he seems kinda upset by it. maybe I dont understand this but the image looks interesting, wonderful textures and colors. Also, its strange what we can do to text and still keep the integrity of what it is trying to say..
