A cute tubby little shark on a big adventure, a golden shark fairy wearing a princess crown, and a mighty hero who perhaps once held the surf against the cruel dolphin invaders...
There is not a single thing in this picture that does not make one double back and think well now, that is something you do not see every day. You have certainly created a world that stands out, and the sympathetic portrayal is just one small part of it.
Well done.

thanks a lot for your words!Β I have a planned story related to this character, but I do not know if I can do it.
It is part of innumerable fables that I am trying to develop, which involves a more captivating, positive and creative representation of the sharks' image, because at present there is almost no media escaping from the stereotype of "Jaws", and this is not good for the animal, which is at risk of extinction.
The marvelous and ecological influence of these animals on the oceans and their incredible biology is unmistakable with the way we represent it in the media.

Never know, but cannot hurt to try. Even if the story despite best efforts does not come out very good, it might at least be fun to write, and will certainly be a learning experience.
Also, the odds are pretty good: There are exceptions, but in my experience very nearly all artists with ability above average (you certainly have that and more) are also at least decent storytellers.
If one has an interest in prehistoric animals, even if they are not a favourite animal one cannot help but hold sharks in very great respect and awe. They were among the first creatures on Earth we recognize as modern fish - and it is simply unbelievable how after living through at least four mass extinctions over hundreds of millions of years, they may be among the first to go in the next.
I read there are about two-thousand white sharks worldwide. You have less chance of even seeing one than risk of being devoured by bears in Sweden. But of course, people fear the menace, not the actual creature.
Here is to hoping the generation to come will not have to look back on ours in shame, having unwittingly emptied the sea in ignorance.

I am very happy with your understanding about these animals and the worrying reality. It is very rare to find people to have any knowledge about sharks, many do not even know that females get pregnant or that they have an electric sense in ampoules on the snout.
These incredible facts about sharks are the source of my inspiration, I try to take these characteristics and enjoy them as creative elements of my fables.
Thank you so much for your words and for your motivation! It gives me hope to continue with my artwork.

The story of this character is very simple, very reminiscent of "avatar: the legend of anng". Basically he is the last of his kind and with the help of a fairy that only he could free, he seeks to unravel his past and discover that there was a whole lost civilization related to him, and that the disappearance of this shark civilization is related to rise of a kingdom of dragons.
The dragons symbolize China basically, they would be like the Chinese dragons, and the destruction of this shark civilization is a symbolism that the biggest threat of extinction of these animals is due to China's influence with the fin soup trade. Then the story will have very morbid tones ...
Ah, problems with self-esteem, sedentary life because the environment is not very conducive for me to have a good diet and physical exercises and I being an extremely strange person, introverted and antisocial makes things difficult and finally I have to draw illustrations for a game mobile company, to help my father with financial debt. I think it's a question of patience.
Thank you very much for your interest!

Thank you so much for your explanation. The storyline sounds intriguing. When I look at the drawing I see the character being strong, curious and lovable. Sad for him that he is the last of his kind, it will be a harsh journey to knowledge then. I wonder how he would grow as a character when he finds out about the past.
I read about your difficulties. Extremely strange is the opposite from utterly boring. I prefer the first!
Don't give up on your dreams!Β You make beautiful art and have a story to tell. Make notes of your ideas and when the time is right you can work out the story.

He will go through the stages of loss, but the fairy will bring him hope, for only he can release it must mean something, a mystery to solve. Their journey also involves the admiration or repulsion of other races, as it is somewhat unknown, the dragons have modified the history of the past, putting the sharks as "tormenting villains", so the presence of this character is viewed with much prejudice, but there are those who will help you on his journey.
Thank you so much for your interest and your words of motivation! Despite these difficulties I do not intend to give up, it is a great challenge to change the image of these animals, but it is not impossible.

Yes, this specific one is a character of a literary work written by the Squaluans, like a book of fable of them. A story within history.
