malhare, like nightmare, is actually a bunch of misc animatronics combined together and made into a cohesive entity in my verse. he is a manifestation of the trauma and fear caused by the missing children's incident and the bite of '97, and since william has such close ties to these incidents, he has the ability to manipulate and infiltrate technology. he haunts the FEC as well as the afton household.

malhare is shadow bonnie, the blacklight animatronics from fnaf vr, and also lolbit. he also inhabits the body of plushtrap, which is a toy that william designed back in the day before fairy tale family dinner theatre was rebranded to freddy fazbear's pizza and aster bunny was retired. malhare is his own separate entity from william informed by his bad decisions and darkest desires, which manifest as a desire to kill more children at the pizzeria and other affiliated locations.

malhare originally appeared as shadow bonnie due to him being bound to technology first, rather than the laws of physics. irl he deadass looked like an all black alice because he can't manifest a body like nightmare; he needs to inhabit one to have true form. this is why he possesses the aster toy and eventually hops to vr and starts messing with its playtesters. he's looking for someone to possess, so he can continue william's killing spree.
