[link] This comic comes from one of the darkest places within myself. Yesterday, I began to remember all of the mistakes and bad choices I have made. I remember most of those times I locked myself in my room and cried myself to sleep. There were so many times I just wanted it all to stop. I wanted to give up on everything.
That is the feeling I wanted to share with you. The feeling of giving up. When hope wanes to nothing. When all is lost...
I took that and tried to express it to the best of my ability within art.
Here's my favorite panel from this one. Whether you put it in context of the comic or not, I believe the message is the same.

Special thanks to for helping me with this one. The initial idea was to be one of her requests, but I was having problems with WMV so I sadly wasn't able to work on it. I took the idea of her request and merged it with mine.
I'm more than certain I'll break 10k pageviews with this one. I want to thank everyone for helping me reach this milestone. To be honest, I never thought I'd get to this point ever. I don't mean to sound like a hardass, but the Ashbringer was TIRION FORDRING, not a draenei.

I've gotten a few remarks like that. To be honest, it's my interpretation to get to more of a symbolic approach. Tales of the Past kind of stuff, so it doesn't follow the lore. The female draenei, to me at least, have this innocent look to them and how the Light is a very important asset to their culture, so having that innocent character wield the Ashbringer symbolizes to me that she is pure... untainted. As the comic progresses, the shadow of doubt consumes her and taints the blade just as it does to her, thus transforming her into a Death Knight: the exact opposite thing of what she wanted to be.

Speaking about lorebending am I the only one who thinks WoW would have been better if it was placed in the Warcaft 2 timeline.
All the wierd stuff: Space-faring Light-wielding aliens, Pandas, Werewolves...at times it doesn't feel very..erm..Warcraft-ish.

While I was reading a song came to mind, I could practically hear it in the background. If you're ever in the mood for some rather slow and sorrowful music, or just need to get a good cry out of your system give "Devotion" by Lisa Gerrard a try. It is a very powerful song though, use it wisely.
