this looks AWESOME! I love hard-boiled detective stuff! (except for the actual novels, strangely enough)
but... um... I thought SkyeWard appreciation week didn't start until January 18 2015??? did I miss it?

Oh, this was for the first Skyeward week. Sometime during the summer, I think.

Really happy you like it. I devoured these detective novels when I was a teen, but I haven't read any in ages, and I haven't seen a lot of Noir movies either. I had to google relevant screencaps to get a feeling for the aesthetic when I did this piece.

Danke! Bin auch sehr zufrieden damit. Der Stil ist interessant, werde ich wohl noch mehr mit rumexperimentieren.
