Description This is a story illustration for Friendshipper's Atlantis fic Night Ops , in which Jennifer Keller and Rodney McKay are the reluctant heroes coming to Colonel Sheppard's rescue.

Check out the story, too, it's great! (And I'm not just saying that because she wrote it for ME. *beams*) It's a gripping action-adventure story, gen, PG-13, with a hint of Rodney/Jennifer UST.

interesing picture.
I liked Jen, she was hot and funny.
But i've never seen her as a "gun-woman"

Yeah, she's a bit out of her depth in this story... guns and action, not her forte. But she saves the day!

Well, if you read the story (great story btw!) you'll find out that (spoiler..........) he's gonna be fine.

Seriously, I highly recommend that fic, it's a gripping read.

Whoa this is awsome. Really like this,great drawing. May i ask what you use to colour? Is it water markers ? I'd like to try and color with those when and if i get back to drawing with pen and paper again lol. Beautiful work

Thanks for your comment! I used acrylic color for this one. (except the snow, that's black chalk which I scanned in, switched to white and added in Photoshop)

Wow, the picture is great, it really captures the moment well and is very well drawn
Oh, and since i don't have an LJ account, could you pass on to FriendShipper that i thought the story was fantastic; the characters were well written, the suspense was suspenseful, the romance was so sweet..!
And i loved seeing Rodney being brave and heroic/cute and vulnerable. And the team dynamics were accurate and totally adorable. And...well, i could go on, it was very good!

I loved that story!

And I love your illustration, too. I think the snow might be my favorite part (I don't get to see enough fanart with the team in the snow).

I loved that story, too! I have a thing for both Jennifer and Rodney doing the Brave Little Toaster thing even though as scientists they're not trained for it. And I love how we see Rodney through Jennifer's eyes; he's come a long way... hard to believe that only a few years ago he was bumbling along pretty much like she is now.

Ah, thank you kindly. At first I wasn't sure how to paint the snow... my first impulse was to do a minimalistic ink drawing on white background, but then I dediced to do it in acrylic and I'm pretty happy with the result. (I added most of the flakes on an extra layer in Photoshop... I just didn't dare to paint big white blotches all over my picture. ^^)
