I've been really into 80s cyberpunk synthwave stuff for the past few months and it doesn't look like this train of obsession is going to end any time soon, so why not try to make a background inspired by it? I love the cheesiness of 80s cyberpunk stuff and how it creates such a unique feeling!

For the picture, another deviant made an awesome background and I loved it, so I used it as a reference as practice It was fun to practice with the shading and perspectives with lines on this one.

If you want to get into synthwave music, I'd suggest to check out New Retro Wave on YouTube. Scandroid's premier album is what got me into the whole thing in the first place, so if you want a starting point, I suppose that could be one of many! Trevor Something's Trevor Something Does Not Exist album or Lazerhawk's Redline album are good, too!
