Description

"Red Dwarf ~ Vulcan's Oracle" Copyright 2014 ~ Michael C. Turner ~ Galactic Visions Space Art

A red dwarf star/sun in a multiple stellar system as viewed from the surface of a terrestrial planet with active geological forces. An ice geys...er erupts from the gravitational effects enacted upon the planet from its host stars. A jetting ring of stellar plasma encircles the red dwarf from the gravitational attraction of its companion star, a blue giant star (out of view to the left) , which is slowly devouring the doomed red star. A third companion star, a white dwarf, illuminates this space-scape from the far right (out of sight). The Cosmos is filled with myriad wonders, some of which are far more bizarre than this scene. Fact is frequently far stranger than fiction . . .

Великолепное у вас творчество. Космические пейзажи реалистичны. Не без удовольствия их смотрю. Вам только удачи - до встречи на окраинах нейтронной звезды.

What would the distance be for a planet to be in the "habitable zone" orbiting a red dwarf star?

This scene somehow reminds me of Mass Effect 1 Rayingri and Maji planets. Definitely good shot.
