Well, You might wanna try the approach of making a shit ton of layers, and isolating the areas to shade, and shading with the layers locked. Hmmm... You think people would be interested in one of them things where there are screenshots and explanation/details of the process from me? :I

The flat colors like my WIP are usually what the start of my lineless arts look like. Though I usually don't do lineless because regardless of all the extra effort, they seem to be even more ignored than my usual pieces. This will probably be the only one that isn't because it's fanart. :I

lol how so? I was just bitching that lineless is a pain in the ass. I mentioned extra effort over my lined artwork. Then you drug time into it. And I was like, OKAY THEN BRO. As for time, I can only say I timed about 4 hours of shading this. And that was about 1/4th of the total area of Hank. I have no fucking idea how many hours I wasted on this.

Heh, I thought you were irritated because some people put stupid time amounts on art works that don't look like they took much time and are like "IT TOOK SOOOO LONG, DAYS AND DAYS! GIVE ME ATTENTION FOR IT." And you thought I was doing something like that. I've seen sloppy MS paint doodles that people claim took something like 20 hours and I just laugh. X'D
