I love the aperture of this image; the background is nicely blurred. There's a few spots of bokeh but you left the turtle and part of the log perfectly in focus. So nice job! I really like how the turtle and log are both facing/looking upward; that really gives this image a positive tone/vision. I gave you 3 stars for originality just because your subject is very common and there are many turtle images out there. But your basics on technique are solid. The impact category got 3.5 stars simply because the photo looks a little bland. I would work on some editing techniques (messing around with color levels, saturation, brightness, contrast, etc.) to make it more impactful. Overall I see this as a photograph with a lot of potential, but it's currently unfinished. Great start, I hope you keep up photography!
