I just finished this.. it's based off the song by nine inch nails, leaving hope.. um yah.. it turned out different.. there's a lot of space but I wanted it that way....that song is so.........beautiful....amazing... yes.. go listen to it.. but first give me comments!Related content

The transition from light to dark, symbolic of leaving hope is powerfully depicted here. I also like the despair shown in the figure and the way the tears seem to come alive in wisps.
The image goes well with the song, although I've only heard the first part of it; very melancholy.

ya nazarai, i went out and bought the double-disc yesterday. still is a beautiful cd. i do agree with you though that the disc does seem very content, and in a way this picture reflects that too. its like, dark beauty. anyway, its still amazing no matter what. la la la.

Your NIN inspired work is nothing short of well... inspired! I really like how the figure is breaking/tearing away from the light plunging him/herself into darkness, thus leaving hope. Very cool!
It's amazing how music can have such a profound effect on us emotionally and artistically. When I first got my deluxe Live CD set I listened to it non-stop for a few weeks. Definitely got the creative juices pumping. I think those disks need to make their way back to my CD player. Cheers!

well, i have to challenge flatpulseline and say that i am mr. NIN (35 CD's, 8 vinyls, and the fragile on double cassette). but i want to tell you that your piece is amazing! that's one of my favourite songs on still. that and AATCHB. which is also a piece of yours that i'll comment on in a moment. wow, i hate to have favourites that other people have, but i have to add this.
