Description Some native plants that bloom undercover of the tall conifers around here. They like shady places. Although I'm not sure what the name is. Also at Burfoot Park on the way down to the beach.

This is Tellima grandiflora (Fringecups, Bigflower Tellima). It was originally native to the western parts of the U.S., but since it is grown widely in Europe, it has frequently been escaping from gardens and naturalizes here, too.
