It's digital, I've used Google SketchUp for a rough 3D base of the room and Photoshop CS3 for painting.

Thank you! Well, when I paint the Room series I think about what I find scary and creepy and try to incorporate the feelings of fear, distress and desperation in the painting.

Great scene and creepy creature. In my opinion the only thing that makes it less creepy is the light coming from through the window. It makes it look as if it's early morning and creates a mood that feels a little more secure.

I agree. However, I did that on purpose . I wanted to paint a perfectly normal room, with the monster being the only thing out of place in it.
