Description My painting symbolizes how when a person dies we are left with a memory of him and his death and with objects that might remind us of him. However, eventually the memory of them “melts” away. What we remain with are just objects that in our mind give us a vague image of the person, but that really do not mean anything. The painting represents a person’s dream about the death of a loved one. He is dreaming about how all he is left with is a memory and objects that remind him of the person, but eventually the image of the person will melt away and he will be left with nothing but meaningless objects.

oil on canvas 16X 20"

for my art class at school.

thanks, its ok if you don't get it, this is the first piece of work that i dont really care what people think its about, and i leave it up to the viewer to decide what's going on, (although i did write a huge paragraph explaining it). thanks for the comment though.
