As of the time I am writing this, the Smash Direct of August 8, 2018 has just wrapped up. Some new characters were revealed, the stage count and music count was shown off, along with many other tidbits of information to get the masses hyped up for the game. I decided to include Simon Belmont in, since he was just announced to be included in the roster, and added Pac-Man because, well, I just love Pac-Man... lol. The actual name of the stage is "New Donk City Hall", but the character limit of DeviantArt stopped me from including its whole name. So, I hope you're looking forward for the actual game's release this December, but until then here's what it might have been like had it released 30+ years ago...

You know I might've considered Puyo Puyo Tetris if it wasn't released on like every other console besides the Switch, but the fact that it was makes me not really want to do it. As for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I've never really played it, as the RPG genre doesn't really interest me all that much. But, I might consider it eventually...

Man, I can not wait to be playing Ultimate with my new GCN controller! Although still have not decided whether I want to play with GCN or JoyCons first 🤔

I'd go Joy-Con first, since that's the most simplest way to play, but once you've gotten the controls down then switch (no pun intended) to the GameCube controller.

Well I've been playing since Melee so for me GCN will be more familiar and simpler. JoyCons are going to be the ones I'll have to practice on if I want to be proficient on them.
